What led you to join SecuriCare?
I wanted to work at SecuriCare because I’m very interested in the subject of health and medicine. SecuriCare offered me the opportunity to further my knowledge and learn about the business. I was drawn to SecuriCare because they have a purpose and we make a real difference in people’s lives.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
The most enjoyable part of my job role is speaking to and helping our service users. I love being able to support our service users – helping them out with any problems or queries. I’m very proud that I am able to do this as my day job.
What’s a typical working day like for you?
I start my SecuriCare day at 9am. It’s a varied day filled with answering incoming calls, working through my orders due for delivery the next day, plus returning phone calls from our service users and dealing with any queries that need addressing.
Here in the office we work in set teams and the team I work in is very close knit. We aim to help and support each other and it makes the working day that much nicer.
Even though I have several of the same tasks that need doing every day, I can honestly say that every day is different in its own way.
What do you get up to in your spare time?
My family and I are very active and we are always doing something. We love going on little trips and exploring new places together. I have a beautiful dog who comes everywhere with us - she loves our trips too!
I grew up around horses - for 10 years of my life I competed my horses, working with and for, some of the best completion riders in the world. I enjoy every part of my life and I wouldn’t change a thing about it!
